I just recently finished up an internship with CAC and I can't say enough positive things about them. The staff are detail oriented, helpful, and friendly. The counselors are thoughtful, caring, and I've seen them go out of their way to make sure that their clients are all well taken care of. I had an extremely positive experience there, and recommend them highly.

The therapists, administrative staff, graduate interns, clinical programming, and customer service are wonderful. How do I know this ? Because I am the Director and see our staff and clients connect in so many meaningful ways . I am honored to work with the best in the business .

My lawyer recommended I go to CAC for my DUI charge. From the initial phone consultation, I felt like I was in a place where people cared. The admin staff were patient and answered all my questions and the counselor who did my intake was kind, understanding and non-judgmental. I completed their Operation Breakthrough program, which (to my surprise) was excellent. I was dreading spending the weekend there, but it was interesting and I learned so much. I wish I would have gotten this information years ago, and I may not be in the situation I am now.

I interned at Columbia Addictions Center for a year during graduate school. My experience at CAC was extremely positive, and if you are looking for an internship in the mental health or substance abuse field, I would highly recommend that you give them a call! The staff and work environment are wonderful, and you will get a lot of experience in both group and individual clinical work. Eileen truly took me under her wing during my time at CAC. She is extremely supportive of her staff pursuing their interests, and she really made me feel believed in. All of the counselors and admins are extremely informative and helpful, and I felt like I got to learn from some true experts. Not to mention I got to work with some incredible clients as well! Every staff member, even interns, becomes a part of the CAC family.

With such a wide variety of classes to choose from, there's a level and style for everyone. Seasonal Free Weeks offer the chance to sample them all. The fabulous instructors are knowledgeable and skilled, each with their own personal style. Scheduling is easy online or by phone, or just drop in. If you miss a class, you can make it up with any other class on the schedule. The director and staff are committed to excellence and well-being. The Yoga Center of Columbia keeps getting better all the time--and you will, too!

Recommended by my lawyer and so far so good. I'm halfway thru with no complaints. Staff is very very friendly and welcoming and i did learn about some things i wasn't aware of in their weekend OB program. i would recommend.

Studying at the Yoga Center of Columbia for almost three years has been one of the greatest joys of my life. The teachers are highly trained and responsive to each individual student. The studio is clean and orderly. Men and women of all ages, abilities and body types are welcomed with equal enthusiasm. I recommend this studio with the utmost confidence.

Best yoga studio! Teachers are all excellent, and the whole business is run with great integrity. The flexibility of schedules and generous make-up policy for missed classes is impressive - and makes it possible for me to stay committed to class with a crazy work/travel schedule. Love this place.

It is by far the best place for yoga in this whole area - their class choices are outstanding and they have lovely teachers and staff. Unfortunately, it's a bit far for me to go regularly, plus I pay for two gym memberships so I can do lots of yoga etc. so would be a bit pricey for me, but I highly recommend it for anyone who does not want to do yoga at a gym - I especially recommend it for newcomers to yoga as the teachers at the Yoga Center will give you a much better basis for your future yoga practice - something you don't get at the gym! Here at the Center, the emphasis is on correct posture and alignment, which is extremely important in yoga and most people don't realize it. Great place!!!
