As a current patient with the "Columbia Addictions Center," my experience here has been nothing but positive. My evaluation counselor, Litza, and my group counselor, Jason, have been extremely helpful and understanding throughout my treatment recovery process. I would also like to give a special 'shout out' to the administrative personnel located at the upfront desk - they have been very polite, courteous, and have been willing to work with me throughout this difficult time regarding scheduling my treatment classes, payment, and have even offered me a few discounted classes. Typically, many addiction centers have a bad reputation due to poor counseling, however, at CAC, this is not the case. If you are seeking treatment and are in the area, or even if you have to make a longer trip, I highly recommend this center... -Ryan

I just recently finished up an internship with CAC and I can't say enough positive things about them. The staff are detail oriented, helpful, and friendly. The counselors are thoughtful, caring, and I've seen them go out of their way to make sure that their clients are all well taken care of. I had an extremely positive experience there, and recommend them highly.

The therapists, administrative staff, graduate interns, clinical programming, and customer service are wonderful. How do I know this ? Because I am the Director and see our staff and clients connect in so many meaningful ways . I am honored to work with the best in the business .

My lawyer recommended I go to CAC for my DUI charge. From the initial phone consultation, I felt like I was in a place where people cared. The admin staff were patient and answered all my questions and the counselor who did my intake was kind, understanding and non-judgmental. I completed their Operation Breakthrough program, which (to my surprise) was excellent. I was dreading spending the weekend there, but it was interesting and I learned so much. I wish I would have gotten this information years ago, and I may not be in the situation I am now.

I interned at Columbia Addictions Center for a year during graduate school. My experience at CAC was extremely positive, and if you are looking for an internship in the mental health or substance abuse field, I would highly recommend that you give them a call! The staff and work environment are wonderful, and you will get a lot of experience in both group and individual clinical work. Eileen truly took me under her wing during my time at CAC. She is extremely supportive of her staff pursuing their interests, and she really made me feel believed in. All of the counselors and admins are extremely informative and helpful, and I felt like I got to learn from some true experts. Not to mention I got to work with some incredible clients as well! Every staff member, even interns, becomes a part of the CAC family.

Recommended by my lawyer and so far so good. I'm halfway thru with no complaints. Staff is very very friendly and welcoming and i did learn about some things i wasn't aware of in their weekend OB program. i would recommend.

I have been working at CAC for 2 years now, and the management has created a great work environment. These working conditions allows us to serve our clients well and be effective helpers.

Finally found people who are concerned about your case and how to successfully handle your current situation. The CAC staff never makes you feel like a second class citizen just like everyone else you deal with during the DUI process. The operation break through class is pretty informative. I was on the Wednesday evening class and I really miss my group. Jeannine is a lot of fun! This CAC referral was about the ONLY good thing my lazy, stupid and unqualified attorney did (his initials are MK). I also think that the expectation of zero drinking through out a 20-30week program is completely unrealistic. who is kidding who? I highly recommend CAC and wish the change their name to something less embarrassing to the clients. If you decide you join CAC through your already painful journey, I can tell you that's going to be one of your most rational decisions using the front of your brain not the back as before this time. Thank you very much to this team in helping me after I was charged with a DUI. Your staff were always polite and super friendly, they even called to make sure I was aware of construction happening near the center so I wouldnt be late and have to reschedule. When the time came for me to appear in court, they actually came out and spoke on my behalf. This experience really benefited me in so many ways, thank you very much.

Columbia Addiction Center is the best. My lawyer recommended I come here, and I am so glad she did. From the moment I called, I knew I was in the right place. All the staff were kind, knowledgeable and patient, and made an uneasy situation, much better. Operation Breakthrough is a great program. I loved that I could get it done in a weekend. The time went by fast and I learned a lot, which I did not expect. If you are looking at a DUI charge, call them as soon as possible. The sooner you get started, the better your outcome (which is what my lawyer told me the day I called). ~Dominic
